Specialty-grade coffee scores 80 points or above on the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) 100-point scale. It represents the top 3% of all coffee grown worldwide. These beans are grown at ideal altitudes, carefully harvested, and processed with precision — resulting in complex, clean flavors that commodity coffee simply can't match.

Many of our coffees are grown using organic or sustainable farming practices, though not all carry official USDA Organic certification (which requires significant fees from small farms). We prioritize direct relationships with farmers who use responsible, chemical-minimal growing methods. Each product page notes the farming practices for that specific origin.

All coffees are available as Whole Bean or Ground. We recommend whole bean for the freshest flavor — grind just before brewing. If you select Ground, we grind to a medium grind suitable for drip and pour-over. For espresso or French press grinds, please note that in your order comments and we'll do our best to accommodate.
